| there is not a 2" difference in contact patch though.  jegs is a good, quick reference for all the tire sizes in different brands. the 10.5 et street has a 8.4" contact patch [ http://www.jegs.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_10001_10002_47024_-1 ] the 11.5 et street has a 9.7" contact patch [ http://www.jegs.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_10001_10002_27284_-1 ]   just a little over 1" wider for the 11.5, but it does make a difference.  what also makes a difference is the section width (bulge or sidewall to sidewall measurement).  the 11.5's have 1/2" more of that as well, wich equals a little more wrinkle ;) like i said in my replies the other day though.  the mickey's run a little big.  so you really end up with about a 10" contact patch on that 11.5.  and you definately want some type of bias ply skinney on the front, or its gonna be scary and dangerous up top.
